Patching your RC plane you use Clear Monokote
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WT ... &search=Go
I read on MARCMAF forum that some one was telling this person to cover
his plane with gray duct tape, not a good idea.

Hey...that clear packaging tape would do the job wouldn't it?!!

The cost is right, and if you didn't want it to be clear you could paint it with a little krylon. The color of your choice! :hysterical:

What do you think??? 8) :!: :!:

Yes I have used clear package tape for pathing breaks in the momokote.
nothing wrong with it.
Flying dutchman needs to eat more cherries and drink less windmills

Question Propbuster >?
Would you use gray duct tape on your plane or clear packaging tape?
there is one guy who uses shiny foil duck tape.

I have discovered that if you use the clear package tape with the reinforcement strings running through it that it really works the best. It really holods everything together well. And you can paint it any color!

True, you can use that but what happens if the tape get very old?
I know they use that tape for hinges on foamies.

Dude.........Have you lost it? Silver duct tape is the best! Sorry I haven't been around for a while, but I had a slight problem some time ago while landing. On the approach, I got caught up with things, and didn't realize that the plane was heading right for me. Needed 36 stiches on the head. But the duct tape held me together until I got help! The plane is fine, I just needed to clean the blood off the spinner and nose.
