The wind was really howling yesterday at my LFF.
Made the hair stand up on my head, but got in a flight anyway with my TT Raptor Titan chopper. Blowing about 20 mph and gusting to 30 or better.

You could hear the main rotor changing rpms as the gusts, shears, and turbulations hit it.
Made for good autos though with lots of hang time.

Yep, real thrill allright.
Just about wet my pants when the wind almost blew my chopper off the pit area table.

Little earlier, couple of my supposed flying buds (Dutchman and Jeff) pulled a good one on me.
I had set my transmitter on table and went to get freq pin for flight.
I turned around and saw my transmitter laying on the ground.
I just knew that the wind had blown it off table and it was probably now broke. :(
Dutchman and Jeff had put it on ground when I not looking and had big laugh. :x Payback will be fun though.
